We have heaped and inflicted wounds upon our Lord through our acts of betrayal, apathy, denial, mockery, and abandonment. Yet, the ultimate Easter Message is one of healing and joy because the Savior, Jesus Christ went to the cross and paid the price. We are healed because He healed us. Join us as we explore this great gift from God in our Lent through Easter journey.
Please note, midweek services will be Morning Prayer from LSB at noon only. A pot of coffee and some goodies will be ready.
Please note the special Tre Ore service at Zion Lutheran in Bensonville for Good Friday. Pastor Prentice is preaching the 2nd to last word, before the Bishop, Rev. President Buss preaches; at 2:30 pm “Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit." St. Luke 23:44-4. This is a great way to contemplate what Christ has done. Then come back to Faith for the chief service at 7 pm.
Sermons will be from Isaiah, Joel, St. Matthew, the Book of Exodus, with an Easter text from St. John's Gospel.
Yes, some Old and New Testament picks, but no wounds can keep Jesus down!
