Confess and be Forgiven

Confession and Absolution

Confess your sins and be forgiven...drive the devil himself away because Christ says so. But sometimes, "demons" lurk and you want to talk about it. Hear the words "you are forgiven" when you repent and ask God (through His Pastor(s)) to do so,

Where and When in the Sanctuary

Every first Sunday of the month at 8:30 am we will either gather for Corporate or Individual confession.

Private Confession Upon Request

Of course, if you need another time...just ask Pastor.

How?

We will use the LSB Rites as published in our hymnal, but we tailor as needed.

Why this way?

Of course, the faithful can ask God to forgive, and he knows the heart and will grant forgiveness. But sometimes, your conscience is burdened and you need to talk about it (you determine what sins to name or not), and then hear the words "you are forgiven" and be blessed to "sin no more". Of course, we know we sin over and over...and we can confess over and over.
