Ordinary Time in the church year

Our Worship Service Style

To some, we appear to be high liturgical or high church; but we feel the setting is very worshipful. We come into the Lord's presence and are served by God in Word and Sacrament. We use various settings from the Lutheran Service Book. At times, we may use other materials, so stop by and see.

(Note) The Eucharist is always served every Sunday. We resumed this practice beginning in October 2020 (we were on summer schedule).

Sunday Morning Divine Service Explained

We start with an Invocation, Confession/Absolution, Scripture read, a good Sermon, and always the Eucharist (Holy Communion). We also love to sing good hymns. For more details, see the "About Us" and the Liturgy explained portion.

We have in the past, and discussion occurred on weekly Holy Communion in the summer...it will continue, unless Pastor is out of townm and the Deacon(s) are leading worship.

We will alter the services in the summer with addition of Matins, Morning Prayer, etc.; but a brief order of Holy Communion will always be offered.

What time?

Divine Worship with Eucharist -  9:00 a.m. to around 10:00 a.m. We are moving to LSB setting 4 for the summer. We "may" at times use Matins with a brief order of Holy Communion to change things up..

Bring the kids too

We love kids and they should be in worship with their families. Do not worry if they fuss a bit, the Lord is good with that...and so are we.

Have a question?

Send us a note.
