75 years of Mission at Faith - Preaching the Mission
Our Mission
Faith Lutheran of Westchester was begun as a mission plant 75 years ago. By the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we hope to stay for another...well...only the good Lord knows how many years.
Our plans
Beginning in September, we plan on having guest preachers and mission minded theologians come and celebrate with us, by preaching and sharing some time for discussion (with goodies and drink).
This will occur every month, from September into December.
We are looking to find out what mission is (OK, some extra thoughts), and where does Faith fit in with the Holy Spirit's plans for the next 75 years.

9/24 - The Rev. Dr. Chad Kendall - The Concordia Chicago assistant provost for mission and identity.
10/22 - The Rev. Kris Whitby - The Assistant to the Bishop on Mission and Ministry for the Northern Illinois District.
11/5 - The Rev. President (our Bishop) Alan Buss - He will join us on All Saints Day.
12/3 - Rev. Dr. Bayans - A noted author and theologian from Concordia Chicago..
